Someone You Can Trust
When you select a doctor for yourself or a loved one, you want a doctor
you can trust. One who is not only qualified, but has gone above and beyond the basics. You want a doctor who
can deliver results. You can choose Dr. Kuhn with confidence, knowing that his knowledge, experience and education are qualifications
you can count on.
Qualifications that Matter
Similar to medical doctors, all chiropractic doctors must attend undergraduate
school before completing the doctorate degree required to practice in their specialty. Dr. Kuhn’s education extends
far beyond those requirements. In addition to his Bachelor of Science degree from Regents College, and his Master of Science
degree from Purdue University, Dr. Kuhn is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, considered to be the “Fountainhead of all chiropractic”.
He has hundreds of hours of post graduate training in orthopedics, biomechanics,
chiropractic philosophy, training in accident reconstruction, disability and impairment rating, peer/utilization review, as
well as a certification in care for whiplash and spinal trauma.
Dr. Kuhn’s education and passion for his profession have made him
a popular instructor at local colleges, and at Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he has taught at the post graduate level
and has served as a preceptor overseeing intern training.
Above and Beyond In addition to his chiropractic degree, Dr. Kuhn completed his post graduate neurological
training through the prestigious Carrick Institute, earning his board certification in Chiropractic Neurology. He is one of
only four doctors in Iowa who are recognized with an active status of certification given by the American Chiropractic
Neurology Board (ACNB). Dr. Kuhn also has completed subspeciality training in
electrodiagnosis from the Carrick Institute and National Unviversity of Health Sciences passing both written and practical
board examinations, earning Board Certification in Electrodiagnostics from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. He has continued his education at the Carrick Institute with courses specializing
in vestibular conditions and in learning and behavioral disorders. He has advanced his knowledge of learning and behavioral
disorders with ongoing study in brain science and related topics. His continued education and research led to the awarding
of his Ph.D. in 2005 by Capella University. Kuhn Chiropractic is currently the only facility in this area to offer QEEG and
LORETA diagnostic testing and neurofeedback (EEG-biofeedback) treatment. With the addition of these important tools, Dr. Kuhn
is integrating this vital research into clinical practice. This allows him to diagnose and treat chronic conditions and difficult
cases which have been previously unresponsive to care. If
your condition involves your nervous system, Dr. Kuhn is uniquely qualified to help you.
The Results Speak for Themselves Word of mouth is
frequently the only way you hear about the positive results that a doctor achieves for his patients. Dr. Kuhn’s
patients often refer their friends and family to him because of the success he’s had with their conditions. You will also find
confirmation of the positive results of Dr. Kuhn’s care within the scientific community. Dr. Kuhn’s dissertation
is a peer reviewed and documented case study that demonstrates the positive outcome of treatment that can be attained. The
results of this case study are so powerful that Dr. Kuhn was honored with “The Seven Miracles of Chiropractic”
Award for his work in brain-based care by Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Kuhn receives many referrals from physicians around
the state to help patients with difficult or chronic conditions. He is frequently the choice of other health care professionals
when they need help for themselves or their loved ones.
